Karpal Singh Drive used to be a place full of western food restaurant and cafes but recently there are some changes here where more shops or restaurant are selling more local Malaysian food, like Penang Street Food, Steamboat and even Nasi Lemak !

At first i thought Spicy Lemak only sell Nasi Lemak, well i am 50% correct. Spicy Lemak is serving variety of Nasi Lemak, ranging from the Ordinary Nasi Leamk, Nasi Lemak with Colourful Rice, Nasi Lemak Burger and for the very first time i actually heard of Nasi Lemak Pizza ! All this is available at Spicy Lemak, Automall, Penang.

Environment here is nice but there are only few seating place available, the place is not big. Service is good but their food serving is really slow. We waited really long for our food to be served and we were already starving by then.

Chicken Whole Leg RM 14.90

I ordered the Nasi Lemak Chicken Whole Leg. The rice come in three colour but there is no distinct taste different between the three rice. The three different colour look interesting and tempting as well, haha .. the size of the Chicken is really big and tasty too, i like its crunchy outer layer and well cooked Chicken Meat inner layer. The Chicken smell really nice, i can even smell it from far when they are frying the chicken.

I am not sure what this bowl of soup is call but it taste like Asam Soup which come with the Lunch Set. During Lunch time, Spicy Lemak serve Lunch Set too, the only different i see from the Lunch Set and the Ala-Cart is the price of a bowl of Soup and a cup of drinks is much cheaper than to order Ala-Cart but the main dish is the same price.
