Looking for vegetarian restaurant to eat at Butterworth area ? I found this Louvre Veggie Restaurant which is located at Taman Tanjung, Villa Sri Bagan, Butterworth, Penang which serve variety of vegetarian dish. Some of the dish here are like those you can find in any other normal restaurant, which is kinda awesome because we don't often find such dish in a vegetarian restaurant.

Auspicious Shredded Black Moss Soup RM 20.00

Louvre Veggie Restaurant is suitable for a family dine in where we can order few different dish for sharing with family or friends. My personal favorite dish is their Auspicious Shredded Black Moss Soup which look something like the Shark Fin soup. It look and taste similar to the Shark Fin soup but the good thing about this is, it is a vegetarian version of it. There are a lot of mushroom inside and some carrot. The serving portion of this Auspicious Shredded Black Moss Soup is really huge. I ordered a small size serving but it is enough for up to three people.

Braised Fresh Mushroom RM 15.00

Another dish that i like is their Braised Fresh Mushroom. This plate of Braised Fresh Mushroom goes really well with some white rice. There are a lot of Mushroom and some vegetables on the side. The texture of the mushroom is smooth and tasty.

Steamed Tofu RM 12.00

Steamed Tofu is also something worth trying. The tofu is soft, served with some gravy and mushroom. A good combination to go with their Braised Fresh Mushroom and a bowl of white rice.

Bamboo Flavour Spring Rolls RM 8.50

For me, i feel that their Bamboo Flavour Spring Rolls is just average but their Fresh Kam Kat Meizi is refreshing and thirst quenching.

Fresh Kam Kat Meizi RM 5.00

Dining in here is really nice, the place is comfortable and the food is good. A nice place for a simple family lunch or dinner.
